Your safety, our role

Digital Family Home holds some of the most personal information a family has. Here is exactly how we handle it when safety or the law is involved, in plain words.

We do not monitor your household.

Your messages, records, budgets, and notes are your household's. Nobody at Digital Family Home reads them, reviews them, or scans them looking for anything.

We follow valid legal process.

If a court, law enforcement agency, or attorney serves us with a valid subpoena, court order, or warrant, we comply as the law requires. Where the law allows, we notify the account holder before responding, so you have the chance to challenge it.

In a genuine emergency, we act.

If we have a good-faith belief that someone is in danger of death or serious physical harm, the law permits us to disclose information to authorities without waiting for paperwork, and we will.

We protect children absolutely.

Child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as federal law requires. This is not discretionary, and there are no exceptions.

Your records can protect you.

If you are experiencing abuse, the information in your own account, your messages, your calendar, your notes, belongs to you and can serve as your evidence. You can export your own data anytime, and you or your attorney can ask us to preserve account records so nothing disappears before it is needed. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

If you need help finding a local crisis line, the International Directory of Domestic Violence Agencies at hotpeachpages.net lists resources for more than 200 countries and territories. You can also search "domestic violence hotline" plus your country name to find the right number.

We are a household management platform, not a crisis service, and we do not verify, update, or maintain these listings. Phone numbers and organizations change. Before you need them, we encourage you to confirm the right number for your area and save it somewhere you can reach without opening an app.

Using this system to control or intimidate someone is a bannable offense.

Digital Family Home exists to share the load of running a home, never to surveil the people in it. Accounts used for coercive monitoring, intimidation, or abuse are terminated under our community guidelines.

To report a concern about safety or misuse, use the Report a Concern form. Reports are read by a person, treated confidentially, and prioritized.
